Report a Bug

Before reporting a problem, please try this first (it saves time for everyone):

1) Close the game.
2) Disable all addons (AddOns button on the login/character select screen) and test again.
3) In your WoW folder, delete these folders: 
   - Cache
   - WTF (You can back up this folder so that your settings are not lost)
   (For a completely clean test, delete/rename Interface as well.)
4) Make sure you have the latest patch for our server. LAUNCHER DOWNLOAD
5) Download and run our launcher.
6) Make sure the launcher is set to your World of Warcraft folder (where Wow.exe is located).
7) CLICK PLAY TO START THE UPDATE. THE GAME MUST NOT BE RUNNING.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE LAUNCHER, DOWNLOAD THIS FILE AND PLACE IT IN THE /DATA FOLDER.

Before posting a report, please look up the related data in our database:

(Here you can find our current database, quests, NPCs, objects, and items.)

What your report must include (required):
- Character name
- Exact name of the object / quest / NPC / item
- Where it happens (zone, instance, coordinates if possible)
- Step-by-step reproduction: how the issue happens (step by step)
- What you expected vs. what actually happened
- Screenshot or short video (if possible)

Important:
We prioritize fixes by severity. Critical issues (crashes, exploits, broken progression, server-wide problems) are handled first. Minor bugs that do not block gameplay may take longer and have lower priority.
